Policy & Procedures

By making a purchase or placing an order with us, whether in-person, over the phone, or via email, you agree to be bound by our store policies. It is the responsibility of you (the customer) to review our policies as they relate to your purchase or special order.

No Returns or Refunds. With this being food and perishable items, there will be no returns/no exceptions. In some situations we can do a remake, but it's only at the owner's discretion.

Custom orders must be placed at least 7 days in advance. If an order is needed within less than 24 hours, there will be a $25.00 rush fee applied to your order if appointment availability is on the order book. Rush orders should be paid for in full at the time of placing your order.

Customers have at least 24 hours to cancel their order. In which case, their deposit will not be refunded. If an order is canceled at the last minute, understand that is an inconvenience to us and there are other customers who are waiting in line to place their order. An additional “last minute” cancellation fee of $20.00 will be added to your next order. If you do not call or contact us to cancel your order, the same fee will apply. I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given. Due to the cost of ingredients and supplies.

Any pickup that is running late, please call us to let us know. A pickup that is 30 minutes or later will be charged a $10.00 late fee.

Any deliveries outside of the Stuart area (10 miles) or more will be charged a delivery fee according to the location and miles. (0.65/per mile)

Minimum of $20.00 must be placed at the time of order to add your name to the order calendar.

A minimum of 4 days notice is required for flavor/filling/icing changes.

Larger orders (such as weddings, tiered cakes) require 14 days. This is due to the possibility of having to order special supplies and time to work on the cake.

Any orders that are not picked up will not be refunded.

As the customer you assume responsibility for the cake and its condition after they leave the building. I will not refund or credit customers for damages to the cake. Cakes are delicate and must be handled with care. A “Cake Care Card” will be provided to each customer that orders a cake from Olivia’s Goodie Shop.
